World's oldest man dies

Yukichi Chuganji, a retired silkworm breeder documented as the world's oldest man at 114, has died at his home in Ogori, Japan.

Bedridden in recent years, Chuganji was born on March 23, 1889, on Kyushu. He liked to eat beef and pork with his meals of rice and miso soup. He would drink milk every day but did not drink alcohol.

Kyushu is also home to the world's oldest person, a 116-year-old woman named Kamato Hongo.
