The woman who allegedly shot at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills mansion while the pop star was home has been identified.
Thirty-five-year-old Ivana Ortiz was arrested following the attack and charged with attempted murder by the Los Angeles Police Department, according to Page Six.
She is being held in custody, with bailset at US$10.2 million ($17.2m).
The terrifying incident unfolded at the singer’s home on Sunday when a woman fired several shots at the residence.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Police Department reported that the star’s Beverly Hills mansion was hit by at least 10 rounds of gunfire, with one bullet penetrating the wall of the home.

Police Sergeant Jonathan de Vera, a spokesperson for the LAPD, told the outlet that authorities responded to reports of the shooting at 1.21pm Sunday, local time.
LAPD radio dispatch of the incident said that “approximately 10 shots” from a rifle had been fired at the residence from a white Tesla that was parked across the street from the property’s gate.
As per the dispatch audio, the vehicle then fled south on Coldwater Canyon Drive.
Rihanna, 38, lives in a colonial-style mansion in the prestigious neighbourhood with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, 37.
The couple share three young children – sons RZA, 3, Riot Rose, 2, and daughter Rocki, who was born last September. It is not known if Rihanna’s partner and children were also home at the time of the shooting.

A$AP Rocky – real name Rakim Mayers – is no stranger to firearms himself. Last year, the 37-year-old was facing up to 24 years in prison for two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm stemming from an argument with childhood friend and bandmate Terell Ephron, aka A$AP Relli.
Ephron testified that Rocky fired two shots from a handgun at him during a dispute in 2021, claiming Rocky pointed the gun at his stomach and then his head, but it wasn’t actually touching him.
Rocky maintained that he was innocent, and in February 2025, a jury in Los Angeles found him not guilty.
