A Los Angeles-based violinist sick of internet abuse has got back at her online harassers by publishing their messages.
Mia Matsumiya archived more than 1000 messages over the last decade and recently published them all on a specially-created Instagram account called perv_magnet.
The posts expose the names of online attackers as well as their horrific verbal abuse, fetishes and threats.
The vast majority of the messages are too explicit to publish, but a couple of the least offensive ones include:
"You wish you were a porn star but you probably can't even make the cut for that" and "your short, thin body really turns me on".
And Matsumiya's not finished with them yet.
"Eventually, I dream of turning these into a coffee table book," she wrote on her main Instagram account.
Matsumiya told Newsworthy she found the messages "hilarious, anthropologically interesting and would make an entertaining but disturbing read".
