Save A few days after being separated from her mother - this baby polar bear at Nuremberg Zoo is doing well.
Nuremberg Zoo say the six-week old polar bear cub they are rearing by hand is developing well.
Zoo keepers examined the female cub, weighing her and taking her temperature, and say she is rapidly gaining weight and wants food every four hours.
The little bear, who still
doesn't have a name, was separated from her mother after zoo keepers grew concerned by the mother's behaviour.
Zoo keepers bowed to media pressure and agreed to raise her, after initially vowing not to intervene in her upbringing.
She is the last surviving bear cub.
