The United Nations Security Council yesterday strongly condemned reports of Rwandan military operations in eastern Congo and demanded Rwanda immediately withdraw its forces from Congolese territory.
The council expressed its intention "to consider further actions" against individuals who by their statements or actions compromise the transition to peace in Congo.
