Don't go chasing waterfalls - unless you're trying to leave work in Washington in the middle of a huge rainstorm and you can't help getting caught in the Cleveland Park Metro Station.
The storms began about 2 pm yesterday (local time) in the D.C. region and continued for more thansix hours. Streets turned into rivers as a result of the downpour, and cars sliced through floods during the evening commute. The water was of such a sheer volume, it poured down the escalators and into the Metro station at Cleveland Park.
