Top prices for big jumbo

Bidders have paid $1.9 million for seats on the first commercial flight of the super jumbo Airbus A380 plane.

A record $218,040 was paid for the "Singapore Airlines Suites" package.

Only 24 seats are left for both legs of the A380's first commercial flight on October 25 when it leaves Singapore for Sydney, Singapore Airlines said. The proceeds raised from the auction will go to charity.
