A 2-year-old boy who was orphaned after a horrific head-on crash in Brisbane is still waiting for his parents to come home, says his heartbroken uncle.
Sarah and Omar Mazi died when 18-year-old P-plater (the equivalent of a restricted driver) Jay Rice slammed into their car after driving "erratically" downthe wrong side of a Brisbane highway at the weekend. Rice was also killed.
The pair had celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary the day before the fatal collision.

But now Sarah Mazi's brother, Stephen Furlong, said they still don't know how they are going to tell their son that his parents aren't at work.
"We still have to actually tell him that mum and dad aren't coming home… I don't know how we are going to tell him," Furlong, told 7 News.

Police said the teen hit another vehicle carrying five people, spinning it around, before ploughing into the car carrying the Mazis.
The driver of the other car, Lachlan Fleming, told 9 News the speeding car came flying towards him, forcing him to swerve off the busy highway.
"Next minute I know there's a car in my lane coming towards me ... in my mind I'm like, what do I do?
"I reckon we would have died."

According to 7 News, Rice was driving at around 150km/h, however, police are refusing to comment on the speed of the driver.
