The black bear made a trip out of nearby woods to visit the home of a family who had just finished baking brownies in Avon, Connecticut in the US.
The mother said the huge mammal appeared on the decking and was banging at the back door, spending 30 minutes sniffing around before retreating back into the woods.
She said she believes the smell of her baking got the bear's attention and that it was just after a snack.
