Teen terrorises Aussie pizza joint with axe

A teenager terrorised pizza shop workers in Brisbane, when he took an axe into the store and chopped the counter repeatedly in an armed robbery.

The 18-year-old man from Boondall, robbed the shop in Sandgate about 7pm (local time) on Saturday, police say.

He made off with cash and fled on foot.

No one was injured in the incident and the teen was caught and later charged.
