Subway stabbing in New York

An 18-year-old was stabbed in a Manhattan subway station yesterday, the third slashing on the city's underground trains in as many days.

The man was waiting on the platform in the city's financial district about 4.15am local time when he became involved in a dispute with five other people and was attacked. He is in hospital in a stable condition.
