Stephen Colbert is turning bizarre comments from President Trump into a children's book that will actually help those suffering from Hurricane Florence.
On Friday night's episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the host turned the spotlight back on those still suffering from Hurricane Florence, particularly in North Carolinaand his own home state of South Carolina.
With many still suffering, Colbert, 54, decided to take Trump's unhelpful comments about a boat that washed ashore, and use them for a children's book, with all proceeds going to help the victims of Hurricane Florence, The Daily Mail reports.

Colbert revealed in his monologue on Friday's show that some areas of the Carolinas are suffering even more now that the rivers have crested, two weeks after the hurricane.
Last week Trump paid a visit to New Bern, North Carolina, which was decimated by the hurricane, where he was seemingly transfixed by a boat who had washed ashore.
"At least you got a nice boat out of the deal," Trump said to one of the Hurricane Florence victims.
The late night host said that, "as a joke," he and his writing staff, "turned all of those comments into a children's book, made up entirely of quotes of Trump touring hurricane damage."
He then added that the "joke is on us, because now it is a real book," before unveiling the cover of this book, entitled, Whose Boat Is This Boat? Comments That Don't Help in the Aftermath of a Hurricane.
The book is available for pre-order now on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and IndieBound.org, and will be published November 6 by Simon & Schuster, the day of the mid-term elections.
Allof the proceeds from this book will be donated to The Foundation for the Carolinas, The One SC Fund, The North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund, and World Central Kitchen.
"This way, Donald Trump's comments about that boat are helping, in spite of him," Colbert said on the show.
"It's the perfect gift for young readers, and Presidents who don't read," Colbert joked.

The book is already selling well, ranking as the second best selling book on Amazon's 100 best sellers after less than a day of being available for pre-order.
The 24-page book is also the top-ranked in Parodies, Political and Atmospheric Sciences categories.
