The fish was found not far from where Bradnam earlier in the year helped pull a body from the surf moments after he had been on air.
In February, the Nine presenter had been reporting on dangerous weather conditions at Narrowneck when he was flagged down by a boogie boarder alerting him to what appeared to be someone struggling in the big seas.

"Just after I got off air chatting with you guys a boogie boarder just behind me here alerted me here at Narrowneck, alerted me he thought he'd seen someone struggling again out in the surf," Bradnam told Channel 9 after the tragic discovery.
"I immediately stripped off and raced out with the boogie boarder to help the person in trouble.
