Scottish beer beats all

A Scottish brewery has produced a 41 per cent volume ale it claims is the strongest in the world.

The BrewDog brewery says its new beer, Sink The Bismarck!, is stronger than whisky and vodka and should be consumed in spirit-sized measures.

The record-strength brew appeared weeks after German brewer Schorschbrau appeared to take the strongest beer title with its 40 per cent strength Schorschbock.
