NASHVILLE, Tennessee (AP) Kenny Rogers, Bobby Bare and the late "Cowboy" Jack Clement are now members of the Country Music Hall of Fame.
The three were saluted by stars including Garth Brooks, Kris Kristofferson, Emmylou Harris and Barry Gibb during a ceremony Sunday in Nashville.
Each of the three inductees had a profound effect on music. Rogers helped push country music farther into pop music than it had ever been. Bare and Clement, who passed away this year a few months after learning of his induction, were as influential behind the scenes as under the spotlight.
