Police in Melbourne fear a three-month shooting spree targeting homes and cars could kill someone.
Since April, there have been at least five separate incidents involving firearms in the city's western suburbs.
The shootings all involve residents in Hoppers Crossing, Truganina and Tarneit finding bullet holes in their homes, vehicles
or garage doors.
In the latest incident, a Truganina homeowner on Sayers Road found a bullet hole in a window and wall last week.
Police believe the shootings are random but are linked to the same suspects.
