An American musician who just played a gig in New Zealand has been arrested on a rape charge moments after arriving back in Los Angeles.
Rikki Rockett was arrested on a rape warrant for an offence allegedly committed in Mississippi, officials told news agency AP.
Rockett, 46, is
the drummer for 80s glam band Poison - the opening act at Easter's Rock2Wellington heavy metal concert.
He was booked and released, and was awaiting an extradition decision by Mississippi prosecutors.
