A 32-year-old man has been arrested and refused bail after he was found using a pizza pan as a steering wheel for his defective, uninsured and unregistered car.
Police were called to Norman Street in Adelaide just after 8am yesterday morning following reports of a suspicious red Mazda sedan and a loitering man in the street.
They arrived to find the man driving the dodgy vehicle turning into a carpark.
The metal pan steering wheel had a bizarre message messily scrawled across it in white, reading: "Uncontrollable and driven to love only a beating heart."
Other messages written illegibly in black and white on the wheel appear to reference to a date of birth and the phrase RIP.
