The special delivery was carried out by a group of five mountaineers in order to celebrate the fact Pizza Hut has set up shop in its 100th country.
Most people would probably just celebrate that with a few rounds of drinks and perhaps a cheeky day off.
It took four days to transport the pizza - which was kept warm by a battery-powered heater.
Apparently this trek was worth it.
"Nothing tastes so good as a pizza after hiking six hours in the middle of the night," said one of the hikers.
The group of employees and experienced guides shared a pepperoni pizza once they got to the top of the mountain.
Milind Pant, President of Pizza Hut International commented on the achievement: "We are thrilled to bring Pizza Hut to Tanzania and believe there is no better way to celebrate our 100th country milestone than by setting a Guinness World Records title for the highest pizza delivery on land to Mt. Kilimanjaro."
