• At least 150 people are reportedly dead after a series of terror attacks in the French capital

• 112 killed at Bataclan venue; 14 at Petit Cambodge restaurant; 19 outside La Belle Epuipe bar; 4 on Ave de le République 4 outside stadium

• Paris police prefect Michel Cadot said the attackers at the Bataclan rock venue blew themselves up with suicide belts as police closed in

• Cadot said all the attackers are believed dead, although authorites are hunting for any possible accomplices

• 100 were taken hostage in Bataclan concert hall who according to reports were later killed

• 14 people were killed in a shooting at Petit Cambodge restaurant, near the Charlie Hebdo offices

• Five more explosions at the Bataclan concert hall prompted police to storm the venue

• Two explosions outside the Stade de France stadium during a France-Germany soccer friendly

• President Francois Hollande who was at the soccer match has declared a state of emergency, closing France's borders

• Police confirm one explosion in a bar near the stadium

• The attack comes amid heightened security measures ahead of the global climate summit in Paris in two weeks' time

• France has been on edge since deadly attacks in January by Islamic extremists on satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo and a kosher grocery left 20 dead

• Despite reports the Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the attacks, there is no definitive proof as of yet

• NZ Prime Minister John Key, US President Barack Obama and UK Prime Minister David Cameron have condemned the attacks
