A pair of giant pandas are to arrive at Scotland's Edinburgh Zoo from China this weekend - the first pair to live in Britain for 17 years.
The two pandas from the Ya'an reserve in Chengdu will remain at the zoo for 10 years under the care of the Royal
Zoological Society of Scotland.
Tian Tian, which means "sweetie", and Yang Guang, meaning "sunlight", will arrive in Scotland on Sunday on a customised chartered Boeing 777 freighter .
The duo will stay in their new enclosure for two weeks before being shown to the public.
The hope is that the pair will breed.
