The 25-year-old son of Norfolk Island's deputy chief minister has been remanded in custody after facing court over his father's murder.
Ivens "Toon" Buffett, 60, was shot dead last month.
His son, Leith Buffett, has been charged over the murder and ordered to undergo psychiatric assessment.
Chief Magistrate Ron Cahill yesterday remanded him in custody until August 17.
