Police have arrested a man on suspicion of assaulting a homeless person who was sprayed with red paint before he was found dead in a cemetery.
Michael Cash, 32, was covered in paint while sitting outside a Tesco Express in Eston, Middlesbrough, on Sunday, September 9.
Video footage emerged of the attack, where a man is heard saying "this is how we deal with beggars on the street" and "he's not even a beggar".
Cash was found dead in Eston Cemetery three days later, on Wednesday September 12.
Following a post-mortem examination, police said they are not treating the death as suspicious.
