Texas police officer Sam Click had no fire training. But he knew there was no time to wait for help.
Click was patrolling in Casa Grande, Seagoville, when he saw the flames, Fox 4 reports.
His rescue of a family from a burning home was caught on his body cam.
"It's fully engulfed. There are people inside. I need help," he is heard saying.
Click remembers being advised to wait for backup. But he knew there was no time and went in, Fox 4 reports.
The video shows Click and Jeremy Giblainc, a family member who lives in a separate house on the property, waking up the father and two babies, then rescuing four boys in another room.
"I woke them up and told them we had to get out, and they all followed me. I picked up the ones I could and the ones that could walk walked," said Click said.
Fox 4 says the Red Cross is assisting the family.
