A flight attendant has a broken leg as a result of turbulence on a Virgin flight from Melbourne to Adelaide.
Two members of the cabin crew suffered injuries but all passengers were unharmed.
"Virgin Australia flight VA233 Melbourne to Adelaide encountered unexpected and severe turbulence shortly before landing safely in Adelaide last night," Virgin said in a statement.
"We can confirm that unfortunately two of our cabin crew were injured and are receiving medical attention."
The flight landed on time and the injured staff were taken to hospital.
