Australian topless waitress and boyfriend in court on steroid charges

A topless waitress and her boyfriend have appeared in court for allegedly importing 11.2L of liquid testosterone and 180 vials of human growth hormones.

Nateesha Jennifer Barlin and Dyllan Shaw, both aged 22, were in Woy Woy Local Court today following their November arrest, according to the Central Coast Gosford Express Advocate.

Investigators intercepted more than 17 consignments of prohibited performance enhancer drugs between 2014-2016.

The offence carries a maximum penalty of five years' imprisonment or a fine of up to $180,000 or both.

Barlin listed her opccupation on court documents as a vet nurse and topless waitress.

She was charged with one count of intentionally importing 200ml of anabolic steroids.

Her boyfriend was charged with five counts of importing prohibited drugs including 11L of liquid testosterone, 170 vials of human growth hormones and five vials of steroids between February and October.

Police allege the drugs would have been sold on the black market.

Neither of the accused, both of the Gold Coast, entered any pleas and the court was adjourned to March 14.
