An Australian woman has been flown to Bundaberg Hospital after being trapped in the hole of a long drop outdoor toilet in central Queensland.
The 65-year-old woman was climbing off a trailer when she fell backwards into the narrow two-and-a-half metre deep open hole, dug on a property at Wartburg.
The Gladstone woman broke her leg in the tumble and spent a number of hours down the hole before being found by her husband.
Emergency services have described the effort of pulling the woman out of the hole as a very difficult extraction.
