The Tamil suicide bomber who targeted Sri Lanka's top general got near her target because she was pregnant, an investigator says.
Anoja Kugenthirasah, 21, from the northern town of Vavuniya, apparently used the premise of a medical check-up at Colombo's military headquarters to target the car of Sarath Fonseka, Sri Lanka's Army commander.
The attack killed 10 people and wounded 27, including Fonseka, who suffered serious abdominal injuries.
