KATHMANDU - Rescuers were to resume a search for a helicopter carrying 24 people, including a Nepalese minister, a Finnish diplomat and several Western aid workers, that went missing in Nepal's mountainous east.
The search of forest terrain in eastern Taplejung district where the helicopter disappeared on Saturday was calledoff when darkness fell. The helicopter left Ghunsa village but failed to arrive at Suketar village, its intended destination, a 20-minute flight away, the rescue unit said.
