Ostermann is associate director of a Munich-based private equity firm called Aequita, with offices in Tokyo and South Carolina. He had been listed to speak at a private equity conference at the Syon Park stately home near Heathrow on October 14.
The pair are being sought in connection with an alleged assault on a woman who was with her sister and two young children, one of whom was in a pushchair.
Officers said the incident in the West End started when a man and woman were walking together in front of the family into the station and the woman collided with the pushchair at around 7.30pm.
The man then allegedly shouted racial abuse at the victim and her family, before the woman grabbed her hair, police said.
When the victim tried to defend herself, the man pulled out a small bottle and said it was pepper spray before spraying it in the direction of the victim and her family, officers said.
BTP said the woman shouted abuse and made lewd gestures at them before both groups left the scene.
Officers said they were investigating and the pair have not publicly commented on the incident.
‘I’m a hair away from the White House’
Rein Lively, who found viral fame after destroying a stand of Covid masks in 2020, previously waged a social media campaign to become the White House press secretary.
“I’m a hair away from the White House. I do think I’m going to get it,” she told Politico, adding: “My sphere of influence goes far beyond people who are paper pushers on the Trump campaign. I work with billionaires. My clients are – I can’t even name who I work with. They own half of Palm Beach.”
Rein Lively, who went on conservative online shows to drum up support for her White House bid, added: “I’m telling you right now, I’m not leaving here without that press secretary gig.”
Trump appointed Karoline Leavitt as his press secretary in November 2024.
Last month, Rein Lively posted a picture on Instagram of herself outside auction house Sotheby’s on Bond St, wearing the same outfit as the woman in the BTP photo, according to the Daily Mail. She has since deleted her account.
