Man arrested on airport runway

A man has been arrested at Adelaide Airport after a car was driven into a barrier.

Authorities allege the man crashed a Camry sedan into the wall, scaled a security fence several metres high and ran onto the tarmac.

The drama unfolded about 8.30am local time.

The man is now being questioned by Australian Federal Police.
