A Texas man who was arrested in relation to the suspicious death of a local woman was taken into custody wearing a sweatshirt that bragged of abduction.
Kruz Dean Wanser was arrested on January 15, four days after the body of 37-year-old Margaret Pennington was discovered at a property inthe city of Azle, the New York Post reports.
In a photograph taken during his booking, Wanser can be seen wearing a purple hoodie that read “I will put you in a trunk and help people look for you” in bold text.
A cursive subtitle says “Stop playing with me” underneath.
Azle Police Department shared the image to its Facebook and listed the charges Wanser was facing, which included tampering with a corpse, possession with intent to distribute and parole violation.

It is unclear what kind of relationship Wanser and Pennington had with one another at this stage, and the Tarrant County Medical Examiner has yet to determine her cause of death.
Pennington’s death is being treated as suspicious by Azle Police, who have stated they are continuing to investigate.
“This is an open investigation and anyone with any information related to the death of Pennington is encouraged to contact the Azle Police Department.”
Pennington was memorialised in an obituary shared by Forest Meadows Funeral Home, People reports.
“She valued time spent with friends and family and was known for her spunky personality, quick wit and unmistakable sense of humour. Though small in stature, she had a strong presence and a way of leaving an impression on those who knew her.”
Her family have asked that instead of sending flowers, donations be made in Pennington’s name to a local homeless shelter or mental health charity.
“Margaret’s life was a tapestry of complexity, yet she embodied the essence of humanity and the profound love she shared. She will be remembered for her creativity, humour and the unwavering lover that radiated from within her.”
