A magnitude 5.7 earthquake has struck off the western coast of Taiwan, the US Geological Survey reports.
The quake struck 100km off the island of Penghu in the Taiwan Straight at a depth of 13km.
There have been no immediate reports of damage.
According to AFP Hong Kong residents also
reported feeling the quake.
