A lost budgie in Japan has made its way home after reciting its entire address to a police officer.
The Telegraph reports the bird escaped from a house in Yokohama and wound up sitting on the shoulder of a guest at a local hotel.
When caught, the light blue coloured
budgerigar was handed over to police.
At first the bird was silent but when back at the station started to recite its home address.
The cops tracked down and reunited the budgie with its 64-year-old owner.
