'Lock him up' say parents of Norfolk Is murder victim

The parents of Janelle Patton, who was stabbed to death on Norfolk Island, hope her killer will "be locked away for as long as possible".

New Zealand chef Glenn McNeill, 29, yesterday faced a sentencing hearing in the island's Supreme Court after a jury in March found him guilty of the first murder on the island in 150 years. McNeill maintains his innocence and intends to appeal.

Chief Justice Weinberg will sentence him in Sydney on July 25.
