New Mexico authorities have begun searching Jeffrey Epstein’s ranch after accusations several of the convicted paedophile’s victims may be buried at the property.
Epstein owned Zorro Ranch, a sprawling 3000ha homestead near Santa Fe, from 1993 until his death.
Boasting a private runway, several of the sex offender’s accusershave alleged they were flown to the secluded property and assaulted.
The state’s Department of Justice released a statement yesterday confirming officials are now searching the site as the reopened investigation into Epstein’s activities there begins.
Officials said they appreciated “the co-operation of the current property owners in granting access for the search” and thanked ranch staff for their professionalism.
The land was bought by former Texas Senator Don Huffines in 2023.

New Zealand couple Brice and Karen Gordon previously managed the ranch, and Brice is listed as the “island manager” at Epstein’s private island Little St James.
He reportedly told the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) the disgraced financier had transported “masseuses” and guests to the property, according to Time.
Elsewhere in the files, a partially redacted document accused Epstein of ordering the burial of two bodies “somewhere in the hills outside the Zorro”.
Sent to local radio host Eddy Aragon by a person who claimed to be a former ranch employee, the email alleged two “foreign girls” died “by strangulation during rough, fetish sex” at the ranch.
Jeffrey Epstein died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial for child-trafficking charges.
According to the Sun, a local police officer also raised alarm bells after he noticed Epstein had constructed a large barn on the property that did not “look like a barn you would use for ranching”.
“The barn is suspicious as there is a garage door that appears to be a sally port, and there is a chimney.”
He told the FBI he had wanted to report his suspicions “because he is concerned evidence could be destroyed here”.
As the current investigation continues, authorities said they “will continue to keep the public appropriately informed, support the survivors, and follow the facts wherever they lead”.
“We urge the public to please stay away from the area and ground any drone activity nearby to avoid interfering with the ongoing law enforcement operation.”
