Japan shivers as cold winds dump more snow

Cold winds dumped more snow on Japan, triggering avalanches that killed six people and disrupting traffic for holiday travellers.

More than 30 domestic flights were cancelled, and about 240 high-speed "bullet" trains were delayed.
