Hillary Clinton's brother bashed

A brother of US Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton was assaulted by a man who allegedly caught him having sex with his girlfriend at the weekend.

Daniel Martin Coyne attacked Tony Rodham, aged 47, at the Rodham family's summer cottage at Lake Winola, north of Philadelphia.

Coyne, 45, told police he saw Rodham and Kelly Ann Quick having sex in the living room.

Coyne said he went into the house and started kicking Rodham. The noise woke Rodham's brother, Hugh, who ordered Coyne to leave.

Coyne returned to the cottage and allegedly attacked Tony Rodham again.

Coyne was arrested after calling state police from a hospital emergency room, where he was treated for lacerations, a swollen eye and a dislocated shoulder.
