'Great balls of fire': Pilot draws penis on flight tracker above phallic shaped lake

A pilot who was presumably bored decided to trace a giant penis on the flight tracker while flying an aircraft over a lake in California that, on closer look, already has a phallic shape.

The "aviation boner" was reportedly created by the pilot of a Navy T-34C Turbo Mentor trainer, a plane that is normally used for bombing range spotting and clearing duties.

The plane flew the penis-shaped trajectory over Southern California's Salton Sea.

The flight path was spotted by Twitter user @AircraftSpots and shared on the social network.

While other pilots have suffered the consequences of drawing penis in the sky with the contrail of the plane, this is a more discreet penis. From the ground, no one could tell what the pilot was up to.

The two Marines responsible for the phallic flight have been restricted to ground duties and are under investigation, Marine Corps officials have confirmed.

The two pilots have not been identified.

"Although not flying for the time being, the two Marine Corps aviators are still providing vital squadron ground support functions," Maj. Josef Patterson, a spokesman for the Miramar, California-based 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, said in a statement. "Disciplinary or administrative action, if any, will be determined following the completion of the investigation."
