Fury at calls to free US official

The widow of a Pakistani shot dead by a United States consular official has committed suicide using rat poison, compounding anger at US attempts to free the killer without trial.

Relatives of three men killed in mysterious circumstances say they won't accept a deal to free Raymond Davis as US officials demand he be granted diplomatic immunity.

Davis has been detained for 10 days since shooting dead two men, whom he says were trying to rob him in Lahore.

A third man was killed by a vehicle arriving to rescue Davis.
