Further arrests in Fiji relating to coup

Three more people have been arrested in Fiji in relation to May's attempted coup.

Chief Ratu Devita Vakalalabure and his son have been charged after taking over a police post during the political upheaval.

IRN's reporter in Fiji says former opposition MP Ratu Maiqama Lalabalavu, who was in parliament on the day of the takeover, has also been charged in relation to the attempted coup.

And he says more charges are expected to follow.

Coup Leader George Speight was formally charged with treason during a court appearance in Suva yesterday.
