Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has moved out of Royal Lodge at Windsor amid growing questions over his links to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
The former British Prince is said to have left his Crown Estate home to move to Sandringham, Norfolk.
He is now expected to stay at Wood Farm, part ofthe King’s private estate, indefinitely while he waits for renovations to Marsh Farm, intended as his new permanent home, to be completed.
The former Prince had been expected to move “before Easter”, with his departure apparently hastened in recent days.
The Sun reported that King Charles had become “increasingly concerned” about the extent of his brother’s inclusion in the Epstein documents.
Mountbatten-Windsor has not fully moved out of Royal Lodge, it is understood, and may be seen on the Windsor Estate in the coming weeks as he finishes packing.

But he will be based at Sandringham and will move into his permanent new home at Marsh Farm later this year.
The Sandringham Estate is privately owned by the King, and he will pay the costs of his brother’s new home.
The Sun quoted a source as saying: “Leaving was so humiliating for him that he chose to do it under the cover of darkness.”
“He had planned to cling on at Royal Lodge a little longer, but with the latest batch of Epstein files, it was made clear to him that it was time to go,” the source said.
“He didn’t want to have a big emotional goodbye, even though Royal Lodge is a place where he had so many family memories.

“Theoretically, he could have stayed until Marsh Farm was ready, but the headlines were only getting worse.
“Also, the fact he’s been seen driving around Windsor laughing and looking like he hasn’t a care in the world hasn’t gone down well with the royal household.”
The release of three million emails by the United States Department of Justice on Friday caused further embarrassment for Andrew.

Files included pictures of the former Duke of York crouching on all fours, looming over a woman lying flat on the floor, and a message in which Mountbatten-Windsor appeared to congratulate Epstein on his release from house arrest in July 2010.
It also emerged that Epstein had advised Mountbatten-Windsor’s businesses until at least 2017, seven years after the royal claimed to have cut off contact with the late paedophile.
Police are reviewing fresh allegations from a second woman that she was sent to Britain by the American for sex with Mountbatten-Windsor.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: “We are aware of reports about a woman said to have been taken to an address in Windsor in 2010 for sexual purposes. We are assessing the information in line with our established procedures.”
