First big blaze in Victoria

A major blaze in Victoria's west was contained yesterday as authorities prepared the state for its first day of total fire ban this summer.

The fire in the Grampians National Park burned out more than 200ha of bush. Extreme weather is forecast across Victoria today. A total fire ban has been declared for all regions except East Gippsland.
