First 2005 Bali bombing sentence given

An Islamic militant was sentenced last night to eight years in prison for harbouring the alleged mastermind of last year's suicide bombings on Bali.

The verdict against Abdul Aziz, 30, was the first after the October 1, 2005 strikes on three crowded restaurants that killed 20 people and wounded nearly 200 others.
