The video shows him expertly manoeuvering the flying craft over a carpark, with other Dubai police vehicles in the background.
The hoverbike also doubles as an unmanned drone, and was designed by Russian company Hoversurf.
The flying bike can carry 300kg in weight and fly for up to 25 minutes carrying its rider. It can rise up to just over 4.8m in the air, and hit speeds of up to 70kmh.

An inbuilt safety mechanism limits the maximum speed and altitude of the aircraft in order to prevent accidents.
The hover-bike was unveiled at the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) this week.
Dubai police at the expo said it could enable police to get to crime scenes that would otherwise be hard to reach with a car or a motorbike, such as traffic jams.
