US President Donald Trump has posted another image on Truth Social inferring his divinity despite significant backlash from his base after he compared himself to Jesus Christ.

On Monday, the US President shared an AI-generated image depicting himself as Jesus in a white robe with his hand on a man’s forehead, before later deleting it and claiming he thought it showed him as a doctor.

Trump has now posted a second image, this time of him being embraced by Jesus. He captioned the post: “The Radical Left Lunatics might not like this, but I think it is quite nice!!! President DJT.”

It comes after a public spat between Trump and Pope Leo, in which the President described the pontiff as “terrible” and “weak” for his condemnation of the US-Israeli war on Iran.
