Disease all-clear

LONDON - Britain is to ease restrictions on livestock movements and is likely to stand down vaccination teams after initial tests for foot and mouth disease at a farm and a theme park proved negative.

Chief veterinary officer Debby Reynolds said no foot and mouth had been found at either site, in Kent and Surrey. The risk of the disease spreading outside the infected area, also in Surrey, was "very low".
