Columbine remembers school shooting

A sign at Columbine High School sets the tone for the fifth anniversary of the worst school shooting in United States history: "A Time to Remember, A Time to Hope."

Five years after Columbine students Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold killed 12 students and a teacher before committing suicide, the Littleton community again must come to grips with the violence of April 20, 1999.

"Something like a fifth anniversary puts people back to dealing with something that they have been walling off," said psychologist Harriet Hall. "Still ... each year brings more healing."

A memorial including a candlelight vigil was planned.
