A British salesman roasted to death while sunbathing on a beach in Ibiza on the first day of his holiday, an inquest has heard.
Neil Murphy, 43, paid £924 for a week-long all-inclusive holiday on the Balearic island on August 12 last year.
But the following day, horrified tourists discovered the Birmingham salesman lying motionless on a sunbed at the Mare Nostrum Hotel in Playa De En Bossa.
They raised the alarm but hotel staff who went to his aid couldn't find a pulse.
An inquest at Birmingham Coroner's Court on Monday confirmed Mr Murphy had died of heatstroke.
