An eleven-year-old boy turned in his marijuana-smoking parents to Minnesotan authorities after he got sick of the smell.
The boy took a picture that showed about two pounds worth of high grade marijuana sitting on his mother and stepfather's dresser, according to police.
The boy repeatedly confronted his mother -who is herself a probation officer - before going to the police.
He told police the smell was so pungent he "was unable to escape [it] without going outside."
A search warrant was executed in the family's home, where police found eight pounds of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, however, the boy's mother denied knowing about the stash.
"They said my son couldn't escape the smell of marijuana and had to go outside for a breather," she told a local radio station. "That's not true. I live in this house. Never smelled it before. It makes me sick."
Police have applauded the maturity of the young boy for turning his parents in.
"He's a very mature 11-year-old," a local sergeant said. "He knows he did the right thing."
